Symbium & SVLG Bring Climate Tech Leaders Together at the St. Regis for SF Tech Week

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — At SF Tech Week on October 10th, the only thing moving faster than the hors d’oeuvres at the St. Regis was the momentum in climate tech. 🍸⚡

Symbium, alongside co-hosts Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG) and partners RMI & the ABC Collaborative, brought together a powerhouse crowd of funders and founders for an evening of real talk, bold ideas, and impactful connections.

The Funders & Founders Social was designed as a relaxed yet high-value forum where climate tech innovators and investors could cut through the noise and dive into immediate areas of interest and friction in the space. Conversations spanned the full spectrum of climate solutions — from energy and electrification to next-gen materials and industrial decarbonization — all centered on how to bridge funding gaps and accelerate deployment at scale.

The event was also a respite from the rush of Tech Week — no agenda, just lifting up founders and funders who are leading and enabling some of the most ambitious projects in permitting, next gen urban planning, electrification, wildfire and natural hazard disaster resilience, food / ag-tech, and de-risking climate investments.

The event’s chef-curated menu kept the conversations flowing as funders and founders exchanged insights on the biggest hurdles in climate commercialization spanning the topics above. True to our mission, the evening wasn’t just about great discussions — it was about leaving with a meaningful new connection that could unlock the next stage of impact.
